The Gluten Free & Allergen Free Expo was in my area the other weekend. I love taking the opportunity to be around others who “talk the talk.” It is a wonderful feeling to talk about my family’s needs with people who understand. I found myself having long discussions with exhibitors about everything gluten free and allergen free.
Expos are a great place to learn about new cooking techniques, gluten free and allergy free resources and new products. There are loads of exhibitors sampling their gluten free/allergen free products. There are also cookbook authors, non-profit organizations, travel agencies who specialize in gluten free vacations, gluten free cosmetic companies and many other vendors. I urge you to take advantage of the demonstrations that they offer along with the delicious samples. As I said before, it is very difficult to walk away from the Gluten Free & Allergen Free Expo without learning something new.
