It has been a little over a week since our NowFindGlutenFree website launched. The whole team at JHMJLL, Inc. has worked really hard to make what we hope, is an easy to follow and informative website.
I have spent the last five months writing and creating this website along with my friend Renee and a great team of technical guys. A special shout out to Mike Truese who built the website for us. I could not have done this website alone and am so grateful for all the people who have poured their hearts into helping my dream become not only mine, but theirs, and then to see it become a reality. To see the website go “live” after months of hard work has been an exceptionally fulfilling experience.
The idea for the website is to help people who are gluten free, for whatever their reason. It does not matter whether you are an old hand at the gluten free life or someone just starting out. We have tried to incorporate as much information as we can with easy to follow drop down menus, great recipes, tips and tricks and take away printable lists.
Renee and I are committed to adding recipes to this site each and every week. As I look at the website now, I have to laugh. There are only about 12 recipes on here so far. Renee and I were working on adding some recipes yesterday, she commented, “In a month, we are going to laugh at how long this is taking us.” I truly hope she is right.
Each recipe is created here, either by trial and error, old family favorites or by adapting mainstream recipes to be gluten free. We cook every one of them numerous times making sure that they taste amazing, are easy to re-create and are family friendly.
I photograph all of the creations that we make with my Nikon D800. I do have a back-up camera that is a Nikon D300. For the lenses I use primarily a 50mm 1.4 and a 35mm 1.4.
I have been shooting for years, as a wedding and portrait photographer. Food photography is so much different but equally rewarding.
We sincerely hope you join us every week and become part of the NowFind family. Please feel free to add comments to the site or send us some recipes, we look forward to hearing from you.
