15 Minute Turtles
This recipe is for one dozen turtles. Simple double or triple to make more.
Not all caramels are gluten free. Please make sure to double check the caramels you use.
On a silicone mat or wax paper covered baking sheet, arrange pecan halves in clusters of three.
In a microwave safe bowl, microwave milk chocolate chips, 30 seconds at a time, stirring after each time, until completely melted. Stir until smooth.
With a spoon, mound melted chocolate on top of each group of pecan halves, leaving the edges of the pecans exposed.
Remove caramels from wrappers and place in a microwave safe bowl. Add heavy cream.
Microwave 1 minute at a time, stirring in between times until caramels are completely melted. Stir until smooth.
With a spoon, drizzle melted caramel over the chocolate covered pecans until they are covered to your liking.
Let set until candies are firmed up. Place in individual small paper cups.
