My son Ryan’s favorite dish is Biscuits and gravy. I have not made Biscuits and Sausage Gravy since we went gluten-free four years ago.
We were in Austin, Texas last weekend for the gluten-free Expo and went to a great little restaurant that was 100% gluten free. One of the dishes they served was chicken fried steak with sausage gravy. I came home on a mission to figure out how to make homemade biscuits and gravy for Ryan again.
There are so many things you can do with sausage gravy. I used this recipe for my biscuits and gravy and Chicken fried steak. It is a good recipe to do meal planning with, it works for breakfast, brunch and dinners.
I used the recipe for drop biscuits from the Namaste website. For the recipe from their website click here.
